  Giants-Saints pregame thoughts: • Finally, no rain! Will be nice to watch a game that isn't heavily impacted by the weather. • The Giants were forced into the best version of their offense because they were trailing by two scores in the second half of last week's game. Don't want Jameis Winston dropping back 60 times every week, but the best players on this offense are Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. The offense needs to run through them. If you have to live with a bad pick here and there, that's OK because Jameis is also delivering yards/touchdowns. • Nabers saying he's only 80% back is encouraging considering he has 17 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns in the past two games. That seems like an accurate assessment because he has left some plays on the field while being productive. This matchup should provide an opportunity for another big game. • Have covered the RB shake-up plenty. Not much more to say. Here's my predictions for the practice squad elevations and the inactives: • Expecting the same practice squad elevations as last week: WR/KR Braxton Berrios and OLB Malik Harrison. Here’s my projection for the Giants’ inactives. Feel confident in the positions, but a few toss-ups: • RB Najee Harris: As soon as Tyrone Tracy fumbled last week, I had Harris taking his spot on the active roster. But Tracy plays ST and his KR skills are valuable with Deonte Banks questionable (I don't think Banks plays). They have practice today at 11:30 but they don't need to file their first injury report until tomorrow. Will still get a glimpse to see how Harbaugh's "fine" injury report on Monday holds up. His two-year, $12 million contract looks like an absolute bargain. Bobby Jamison-Travis has ditched the redshirt and might already be the second-best run-stopper on the D-line. He figures to see more time on passing downs in Brian Burns’ absence. • Didn’t even consider the possibility of Burns playing after he missed practice all week with a sprained ankle. They started out using him only on third downs, but he eventually got some early-down snaps as the game progressed. Impossible to say if the ankle injury contributed to the ACL.   Monday night game in Los Angeles has caused some tweaks to the Giants' schedule this week. They have practice today at 11:30 but they don't need to file their first injury report until tomorrow. Will still get a glimpse to see how Harbaugh's "fine" injury report on Monday holds up. I'll have an eye on Deonte Banks. They were working on his right calf during Sunday's game. There can be a thin line between cramps and a muscle strain. We'll have access to practice Thursday and Friday, but nothing on Saturday because that's when the team is traveling to LA.
