My ESPN league is private

Read this first. ESPN has no proper way to connect an app to a private league. There is no OAuth and no read-only token, which is what the other platforms here use and why they need nothing sensitive. The only way in is your own two ESPN session cookies, and those are not scoped to fantasy: anyone holding them can act as you anywhere on ESPN until they expire.

If that is not a trade you want to make, it is a reasonable call. Sleeper connects properly, and a public ESPN league needs nothing but its ID.

If you do continue: the cookies are encrypted before they are stored, never shown back to you, never written to logs, and deleted the moment you disconnect or delete your account. They are used for one thing, reading your roster. See the privacy policy for the specifics.
