Presumably the Giants will put LB Tremaine Edmunds, who is done for the season, on IR to open the roster spot for Adebo. As for practice squad elevations, look for WR Jalin Hyatt — remember him?! — to get elevated for tomorrow’s game. Giants only have four WR on the 53-man roster. Hyatt was having a decent start to camp before missing time with an ankle injury. The other potential elevation is S Raheem Layne. With Jevon Holland (concussion) ruled out, the Giants will need Layne if Tyler Nubin, who is questionable with a neck injury, can’t play.
- Paulson Adebo will be activated from IR later today. "He's ready to go," John Harbaugh said on Friday. With Greg Newsome (concussion) out, Adebo could be right back in starting mix. Also, may have a Jalin Hyatt sighting. He's worked hard to earn an elevation + opportunity.

Among the five questionable players, the two safeties are the most uncertain from what I’ve gathered.
I believe Jevon Holland will try to get final clearance from the concussion protocol in the morning before the team flies to Houston. Impossible to predict how that will go. Tyler Nubin’s status is up in the air as well.
Expecting Paulson Adebo to be activated and start at corner.
Jermaine Eluemunor and Marcus Mbow being limited the past two days is encouraging, but don’t have definitive word on their statuses. - Giants-Saints defensive snap counts (trying to post before any more cuts): • Slight uptick in DJ Reader's playing time. Has to be incredibly challenging to limit his snaps because he is far and away their best DT. His TFL on third-and-goal before halftime could have been a game-changing play. Shelby Harris is a tier or two below, and then it drops off a cliff when they get to the young guys. • Abdul Carter was dominant early with the consecutive holding penalties. Bad tackles just don't have a chance against him. He was on a pitch count while playing through a calf injury. He was quieter as the game progressed, but it also turned into a run-heavy second half. Kayvon Thibodeaux has been better the past two weeks, but they still need more. The roughing the passer penalty was just unnecessary. I'll just say the Jihad Ward release was not a surprise. Trace Ford is out of practice squad elevations. I'm not sure it's a lock that he gets signed to the 53. You're seeing the difference…

- Giants-Rams pregame thought No. 8: This game might hinge on Puka Nacua’s status. The Giants put Paulson Adebo on IR and I’m not expecting Deonte Banks to play due to a calf injury. That leaves Greg Newsome, who is banged up coming out of the opener, and rookie Colton Hood as the top corners with shaky depth behind them. Behind them are slot corners and players with minimal experience. The Giants don’t have anyone to match-up physically with Nacua, but he may not play due to a groin injury.
