Saints vs. Steelers: Week 7 Game MVP
Another disappointing finish for the New Orleans Saints, but even amid the struggles, one player is showing up consistently. Without his presence in Paris, this game probably would have gotten out of hand quickly. Chase Young is the MVP of this game and, so far, of the season. Young was voted a captain to begin […]

Shouldn't be confusing:
-49ers traded a 2nd-round pick for Jimmy Garoppolo and ended up getting a half-decade of good play at the most important position. Injuries were the limiting factor there.
-49ers traded a 3rd-round pick for Chase Young and got 9 games and 2.5 sacks · Quoting hayden: @LombardiHimself Kinda confused how jimmy wouldnt be in the same tier as chase young, both had to give up a good amount and they were both mediocre and both played a big part in a super bowl run with the team and everything after that wasnt notable

- Oct 22 David Lombardi (X) The 49ers have made A LOT of offseason trades as well. And they’ve hit on many draft picks and some key FA signings. Consistently top-shelf rosters don’t materialize out of thin air. The 49ers won 13 games with a borderline JV team last season! · Quoting Danny G: In-season trade acquisitions the 49ers have made since 2019: 2019 WR Emmanuel Sanders 2020 DE Jordan Willis 2021 DE Charles Omenihu 2022 RB Christian McCaffrey 2023 DE Randy Gregory DE Chase Young 2024 DT Khalil Davis 2025 DL Keion White Their track record is strong 👍

Giants-Saints pregame thoughts:
• Finally, no rain! Will be nice to watch a game that isn't heavily impacted by the weather.
• The Giants were forced into the best version of their offense because they were trailing by two scores in the second half of last week's game. Don't want Jameis Winston dropping back 60 times every week, but the best players on this offense are Malik Nabers and Isaiah Likely. The offense needs to run through them. If you have to live with a bad pick here and there, that's OK because Jameis is also delivering yards/touchdowns.
• Nabers saying he's only 80% back is encouraging considering he has 17 catches for 233 yards and two touchdowns in the past two games. That seems like an accurate assessment because he has left some plays on the field while being productive. This matchup should provide an opportunity for another big game.
• Have covered the RB shake-up plenty. Not much more to say. I don't get the Najee Harris love from the coaching staff, but this…

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly from the Saints loss to the Vikings
The Good: Causing fumbles The only real moments of excitement in this game were two fumbles caused by the Saints in the red zone. Khristian Boyd punched the ball out of Aaron Jones’s hands and it was scooped up by Chase Young and returned 27 yards to set up an eventual touchdown drive. Later in […]

Chase Young was running with that ball like a loaf of bread. Would love better ball-security, but a massive swing in this game. Saints first defensive takeaway since Week 2.

- Oct 11 John Sigler (Bluesky) Team has exactly one (1) impactful defender and his name is Chase Young
- Oct 11 Jeff Duncan (X) Huge takeaway there for the Saints defense. I still don't know who forced the ball free from Aaron Jones, but Chase Young scooped it up and returned it 26 yards to thwart a second Vikings' scoring opporunity.
- Oct 11 Jeff Nowak (X) Chase Young was running with that ball like a loaf of bread. Would love better ball-security, but a massive swing in this game. Saints first defensive takeaway since Week 2.
- Chase Young can't keep rushing the quarterback all on his own. The New Orleans Saints got him some help with a big swing in this 2027 mock draft.
- Two notable injury absences in Vikings-Saints: Vikings LT Christian Darrisaw Ryan Van Demark makes his 7th NFL start and first with MIN. He'll spend most of his time matched up against the Saints' best pass rusher, Chase Young, who has 13.5 sacks in his last 15 games. The Vikings probably have to give Van Demark some chip help and/or use quick passes to not let Young wreck the game. Saints LB Kaden Elliss Not a huge name, but one of the Saints' best players. Great tackler, run defender, blitzer. Not a coincidence that he missed his first game last week and the Saints looked helpless against the Falcons' run game. Pete Werner and Danny Stutsman really struggled.
- Chase Young says the Saints must use this embarrassing Falcons loss as motivation: 'I hope everybody in here has a sour taste in their mouth 'til we get to Sunday'
