CB Deonte Banks was on the side for what appeared to be a walk-through practice. He had a sleeve on his right calf. CB Paulson Adebo (?) was also on the side.
RB Tyrone Tracy wasn’t spotted during the open portion of practice. Wouldn’t jump to conclusions there. Heard he has been sick · Quoting Dan Duggan: Monday night game in Los Angeles has caused some tweaks to the Giants' schedule this week. They have practice today at 11:30 but they don't need to file their first injury report until tomorrow. Will still get a glimpse to see how Harbaugh's "fine" injury report on Monday holds up.
I'll have an eye on Deonte Banks. They were working on his right calf during Sunday's game. There can be a thin line between cramps and a muscle strain.
We'll have access to practice Thursday and Friday, but nothing on Saturday because that's when the team is traveling to LA. Can't recall the last Giants coach who left a day early for a West Coast trip.

- 3d Patricia Traina (Bluesky) Tiki Barber Shares Advice to Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr for Fixing Ball Security Issues
- Back to limited regular season practice viewing, but RB Tyrone Tracy (stinger), WR Malik Nabers (knee) and TE Theo Johnson (shoulder) participated in the open portion with the team in full pads. OL Bryan Hudson was also participating after sitting out the last practice of last week.
- This will be the most important development today. Obviously, Malik Nabers' practice participation is the big news. Also, will get an update on Tyrone Tracy (stinger) and Theo Johnson (shoulder), but both seem on track. Don't know of any other injuries, so we'll see if there are any other names on the report · Quoting NYGfaninCLT: @DDuggan21 When do you expect the Injury Report to be released? Anything on your radar about it?

- Sep 8 Dan Duggan (X) The Giants' "unofficial" depth chart for Week 1 officially lists a few notable developments that we saw as the preseason progressed: • Chauncey Golston as a starting DE alongside DJ Reader and Shelby Harris. • Greg Newsome and Deonte Banks starting corners. Also: • Tyrone Tracy, Najee Harris and Devin Singletary all listed as RB2. • Darnell Mooney listed as the starting WR alongside Malik Nabers. • Kayvon Thibodeaux no longer listed as a co-starter with Abdul Carter. • They list a starting nickel corner now, and it's Dru Phillips, as expected. • Jevon Holland listed as the top punt returner. Giants offensive snap counts vs. Cowboys:
• Cam Skattebo very clearly RB1, as expected. We made such a big deal about Malik Nabers' return, but can't overlook that was Skattebo's first game since his own significant injury. He still runs insanely hard.
I thought Tyrone Tracy would be RB2, but that was clearly Devin Singletary. Tracy didn't play an offensive snap after his second-quarter fumble and I think he's on the fast track to taking Najee Harris' spot as a healthy scratch.
I don't love giving Singletary many carries. He gets what's there and not much more. But he was the passing down back and was very effective when the Cowboys inexplicably neglected to cover him in the flat for an entire drive.
• They rotated receivers/personnel packages at a dizzying rate. Not surprised that Malachi Fields was the clear leader in WR snaps. His blocking is going to have him on the field a lot. You saw them take some vertical shots to him, and he made a great diving catch on one but was out…

- 6d Dan Duggan (X) Giants get the ball to start the second half. A chance to really own the "middle eight." Had an interception they turned into a touchdown and were driving for another TD before Tyrone Tracy fumbled.
