Official inactives:
• TE Thomas Fidone
• OL JC Davis
• DL Bobby Jamison-Travis
• CB Nic Jones
• Jason Pinnock
• RB Najee Harris
• WR Dalen Cambre
Cambre went through the full early pregame warmup, which inactive players never do. Seems like the Giants were making sure they had a contingency in place until they got the official thumbs up from Nabers. · Quoting Dan Duggan: Giants are at a full 55-man game-day roster, which needs to be whittled to 48 active players for the game. Here's my prediction for the seven inactives (feel strong on the first five, last two are coin flips):
• TE Thomas Fidone
• OL JC Davis
• DL Bobby Jamison-Travis
• CB Nic Jones
• S Jason Pinnock
• RB Devin Singletary or RB Najee Harris (I'll go Harris inactive)
• WR Malik Nabers or WR Dalen Cambre (I'm not even guessing on this one, we'll see what Nabers decides)

- 6d Jordan Raanan (X) Now Tyrone Tracy Jr. gets a carry on the Giants second drive. So already Cam Skattebo, Devin Singletary and Tracy have touched the ball. #Giants

- Sep 8 Pat Leonard (X) Giants’ 1st depth chart of the regular lists Deonte Banks ahead of the highly paid Paulson Adebo as a starting corner opposite Greg Newsome Darnell Mooney alongside Malik Nabers at WR with Fields and OBJ behind. Berrios not even listed there RB is listed as Skattebo and then everyone else in a jumble Jevon Holland is atop the punt return depth chart now, not Berrios. Deonte Banks and Devin Singletary the top kick returners
- Sep 8 Dan Duggan (X) The Giants' "unofficial" depth chart for Week 1 officially lists a few notable developments that we saw as the preseason progressed: • Chauncey Golston as a starting DE alongside DJ Reader and Shelby Harris. • Greg Newsome and Deonte Banks starting corners. Also: • Tyrone Tracy, Najee Harris and Devin Singletary all listed as RB2. • Darnell Mooney listed as the starting WR alongside Malik Nabers. • Kayvon Thibodeaux no longer listed as a co-starter with Abdul Carter. • They list a starting nickel corner now, and it's Dru Phillips, as expected. • Jevon Holland listed as the top punt returner. Uhh, no. That'll be Braxton Berrios.

Giants offensive snap counts vs. Cowboys:
• Cam Skattebo very clearly RB1, as expected. We made such a big deal about Malik Nabers' return, but can't overlook that was Skattebo's first game since his own significant injury. He still runs insanely hard.
I thought Tyrone Tracy would be RB2, but that was clearly Devin Singletary. Tracy didn't play an offensive snap after his second-quarter fumble and I think he's on the fast track to taking Najee Harris' spot as a healthy scratch.
I don't love giving Singletary many carries. He gets what's there and not much more. But he was the passing down back and was very effective when the Cowboys inexplicably neglected to cover him in the flat for an entire drive.
• They rotated receivers/personnel packages at a dizzying rate. Not surprised that Malachi Fields was the clear leader in WR snaps. His blocking is going to have him on the field a lot. You saw them take some vertical shots to him, and he made a great diving catch on one but was out…
