Let's get through practice squad elevations first! That will impact the inactive list. OLB Trace Ford seems like a lock for his third straight elevation.
My question is if they elevate WR Dalen Cambre again. He played two offensive snaps and 11 special teams snaps last week. Wonder if they try to get by with four WR so they can activate Devin Singletary, who could have a bigger impact on the game · Quoting Sam Sternadori: Inactive’s predictions?@DDuggan21

- Oct 10 Dan Duggan (X) The Giants elevated Cambre and Ford and placed Golston on IR. A reminder, there's no short-term IR or long-term IR designation. Every player who goes on IR during the season is eligible to be activated after four weeks. My expectation is that Golston's injury will sideline him long-term, potentially for the rest of the season · Quoting Dan Duggan: Giants seemingly have two obvious practice squad elevations today: WR Dalen Cambre and OLB Trace Ford. Only intrigue is if they sign either to the 53 and put Chauncey Golston (neck) on IR. They’ll likely both sign to the 53 eventually, but the Giants could exhaust their P-squad elevations first.

Maybe I’m wrong but why is ricard on the field for 24% of plays ? · Quoting Dan Duggan: Apologies for the delay in the snap counts breakdown, but kids were off from school yesterday and puppy decided to snack on a sock so there was a fun emergency vet visit. Anyway, here are the Giants' offensive snap counts vs. the Commanders:
• I've never been a fan of rotating QBs. Even for all those years in New Orleans, I'm not sure taking one of the best QBs ever off the field for Taysom Hill was a smart strategy. And JJ McCarthy isn't Hill as a runner. They had a ton of confusion before one snap deep in the red zone (a 1-yard Tyrone Tracy run) and then Jameis Winston had a delay of game on the next play after shuttling back in at QB. The negatives outweigh the positives with the rotation. If you want to play McCarthy (eventually), just play him. Until then, let Winston be the QB.
• They're in a tough spot at RB. Cam Skattebo is their best back, but he hasn't been effective this season (3.6…

Giants are signing WR/ST Dalen Cambre to the 53-man roster, per sources. Sense I get is that they’re still going through combos of what game day roster will look like with actives/inactives and Malik Nabers’ status.
So Cambre gets 53rd spot, pay bump + could be active/inactive.
