Good read.
Point one is the most important · Quoting Chris Kouffman: Some more thoughts on the Dolphins game yesterday with SOME of the film review in the can:
- Miami needs to figure out how to prevent rookie CB Chris Johnson being singly targeted on over a THIRD of all pass plays, because that's what happened. Cousins ran the entire passing attack thru a rookie who was asked to play both inside and outside, with hardly any personnel-mixing to give the Raiders an extra layer of complexity. The problem is they didn't feel Kyle Louis was ready for this game, so they only played him 3 snaps, and he injured his knee on one of those 3 snaps. Figuring this out and not getting the rookie's confidence in the toilet should be top priority.
- From a defensive standpoint the Dolphins will throw away the first 5 drives, where they allowed the better part of 50 yards per drive and 6 yards per play to go along with the 24 points, and try and build on the second 5 drives, where they allowed…

- 5d Omar Kelly (X) This is the throw Willis said he couldn’t step into · Quoting Marcel Louis-Jacques: The dots on Malik Willis' first INT of the season Wonder if he thought Treydan Stukes (31) would take Malik Washington up the seam? We'll hear from him after the game but this ball can't be thrown in this spot I mentioned he and Douglas had an exchange pre-snap -- wonder if he locked on to him afterward
- 5d David Furones (X) Miami Dolphins offensive snap counts against Raiders. Malik Washington, Caleb Douglas in on nearly every play. Chris Bell had 29 snaps, with 16 for Kevin Coleman Jr. Jaylen Wright, Ollie Gordon see eight snaps combined behind Achane’s 48. About a 3-to-1 split at TE between Greg Dulcich and Will Kacmarek.

Jalen Tolbert is the biggest name on the Dolphins inactive list. Malik Washington and Ryan Miller will be the only veteran receivers for Malik Willis today.
