Good read.
Point one is the most important · Quoting Chris Kouffman: Some more thoughts on the Dolphins game yesterday with SOME of the film review in the can:
- Miami needs to figure out how to prevent rookie CB Chris Johnson being singly targeted on over a THIRD of all pass plays, because that's what happened. Cousins ran the entire passing attack thru a rookie who was asked to play both inside and outside, with hardly any personnel-mixing to give the Raiders an extra layer of complexity. The problem is they didn't feel Kyle Louis was ready for this game, so they only played him 3 snaps, and he injured his knee on one of those 3 snaps. Figuring this out and not getting the rookie's confidence in the toilet should be top priority.
- From a defensive standpoint the Dolphins will throw away the first 5 drives, where they allowed the better part of 50 yards per drive and 6 yards per play to go along with the 24 points, and try and build on the second 5 drives, where they allowed…

- Sep 9 David Furones (X) I actually got this one in a DM yesterday. I said I like Chris Bell’s long-term upside but that Caleb Douglas should have an early edge from getting many more reps in the offense and with Malik Willis in camp and going back to OTAs. Do with that what you will. It’s very close. · Quoting Danielsutyak: @DavidFurones_ Questions for you fantasy related Chris bell or c Douglas ? @DavidFurones_

- Sep 1 Omar Kelly (X) That is not what I’m suggesting. What I have suggested is give Willis the talent he needs to properly evaluate him. In my opinion they were a WR, TE and 2 decent O-linemen away. Chris Bell came back, they claimed a TE and added 2 O-line. https://t.co/S9OONY1P8X · Quoting The Fins Reset: @OmarKelly Yeah he did agree with a majority of your column but you’re also suggesting using all of the current cap space that we have to sign free agents. That is fundamentally different than what he has said on how he will run this team. So clearly, he does not agree 100% lol

- Dolphins rookie WR Chris Bell believes he’ll get a gradual increase in snaps as the season goes. He had 29 offensive snaps (52%), plus four special teams snaps, in the opener against the Raiders.

- Aug 29 Dwain McFarland (X) How long before Chris Bell is the WR1 for the Dolphins? Missed a lot of camp, but he is the BEST fit for what they want to do. He can attack the interior of the defense on in-breaking routes on play action -- and add YAC. Great late-round dart in fantasy drafts, imo.
