- Oct 25 Jeff Nowak (X) It was a frustrating day for the Saints, a lot to figure out. I thought the usage of Barion Brown on offense and the outside corner play on defense were two of the bright spots. Brown's role should only continue to grow and I'd wager Martin Emerson Jr. sticks as the CB2 starter.

- Oct 25 Jeff Duncan (X) Tyler Shough hits Barion Brown in stride for a 49-yard gain, and just like that, the Saints are in Steelers territory at the 32. Perfect pass.
- Oct 25 Jeff Nowak (X) And there’s a good way to solve that problem. · Quoting Jeff Nowak: Problem with these Barion Brown plays is the second you see him in the personnel you’re instantly alert for it. Saints still able to convert. Shough handling the start of this game very well.

Ups and downs from Saints vs. Giants
The New Orleans Saints have finally ended their win streak, finding a win over the New York Giants. It didn’t start pretty, and it definitely didn’t end pretty, but New Orleans survived. Feels very similar to the Ravens game. Barion Brown with a nice return to set the Saints up with good field position with a little over 2 minutes to go in the half.

- Oct 18 Jeff Nowak (X) Won’t look like much on the stat sheet, but pretty sure Barion Brown just saved a pick-6 with that catch.

- Oct 7 Jeff Nowak (X) Barion Brown has a thigh injury. Chris Olave’s absence was listed as a rest day. Alvin Kamara’s injury is being listed as a back issue.
- Oct 7 Jeff Nowak (X) Saints practice today was a walkthrough today with some notable absences. Didn't spot: - Chris Olave - Barion Brown - Anfernee Jennings (knee) - Alvin Kamara - LB Kaden Elliss (calf) Also a few notable returns. Carl Granderson (ankle) was back practicing. The Saints have also opened the return to practice window for LB Jaylan Ford and DB Lorenzo Styles. Both guys looked to be moving well. Brown was dealing with a hamstring injury previously and did get dinged up late. Kamara was dealing with a knee issue in the second half but finished the game. Olave took a hit to the knee area on the final drive.
- And just to finish off this note. This is how Alvin Kamara's 7 rushing attempts went: +4 (1st & 10) +2 (1st & 10) +3TD (2nd & goal) +4 (1st & 10) +3 (2nd & 10) +2 (4th & 1) +5TD (3rd & 1) You'd love a chunk play, but these are all fairly obvious run situations. All the negative plays came from others. Kendre Miller had a fumble and two negative runs. Barion Brown went -5 on his carry.

- Sep 23 ESPN NFL Injury Report Barion Brown: Questionable
- Saints walled this off incredibly well and it looked like Baltimore might’ve underestimated Barion Brown’s acceleration. Huge moment in the game. Also, shoutout to Chris Rumph bc you see his leverage turn into a hold ALL THE TIME in these situations. Did just enough then let go. · Quoting Cole Jackson: Jesus Chris... 24 The kickoff that set up the end of half FG
- Barion Brown’s return helps the Saints steal 3 before halftime. It’s a one-score game and the Saints get the ball after the break. Considering how tilted things felt in that half, that’s a bit of a win in itself.
- More Saints wearing Guardian caps this week. DT Nathan Shepherd, WR Barion Brown, and WR Chris Olave all joining DT Christen Miller with more head protection.

- He'll have to go through waivers, but I'd be surprised if they don't try to bring him back.
