Really tough with Eason. The numbers at DT were not accommodating, but could've really made a case for him. Lotta heft there, wouldn't be shocked if it works out for him with the Chiefs

Based on everything I saw and how he continued to develop throughout camp, I'd be very surprised if undrafted DT James Thompson Jr. of Illinois does not make the 49ers' 53-man roster.
