- Oct 18 Jeff Nowak (X) Daniel Carlson has gotten a lot of grief recently (for good reason considering the missed PATs), but you have to give him credit today. Saints were down 10-0 and had nothing going. They ask him to go out there and attempt a 58-yarder. I was honestly a bit surprised they even tried it. If he misses that kick, Giants take over in excellent field position to potentially take a three-score lead at halftime. Instead he nails it, which allows the Saints to kick off (where they forced the momentum-swinging fumble).
