- Oct 9 Greg Auman (X) Most special-team snaps for Bucs vs. Cowboys: Ifeatu Melifonwu 18 (played 59 of 60 snaps on defense), Miles Killebrew, Kevin Knowles, Christian Rozeboom, Bauer Sharp, David Walker 16 each. Rozeboom had 3 tackles, Killebrew forced fumble on kickoff return, Knowles recovered.
- So much went wrong for Bucs on Vikings' punt-return touchdown. Both gunners -- Kam Johnson and Kevin Knowles -- overran the returner, bad angles all over, Dennis and Rozeboom were completely blocked out of the play. One guy to beat, Rozeboom misses and he's gone.
- Bucs' Kevin Knowles flagged 15 yards on punt coverage -- he and Killebrew both with penalties on special teams today.
- Same explanation all three weeks now for rookie corner Ayden Garnes being inactive. Bucs have three healthy outside corners they like, and Kevin Knowles is on the 53 as a special-teams ace, so Garnes is the odd man out. Nothing against him, just need depth to help on teams. · Quoting Delusional Bucs Fan (0-2): @gregauman how is Garnes still a healthy scratch?
- Most special-teams snaps for Bucs vs. Browns: Kevin Knowles, Bauer Sharp, SirVocea Dennis, Miles Killebrew 20, Payne Durham 19, Ifeatu Melifonwu 17. Josiah Trotter, Keionte Scott, Kam Johnson led with two special-teams tackles each. Knowles had one.
- Jacob Parrish being inactive for the Bucs means they'll need Zyon McCollum and Benjamin Morrison to stay healthy vs. Browns. Ayden Garnes is also a scratch, so they'd lean on Kevin Knowles or nickel Keionte Scott if they needed another corner.
- Most special-teams snaps for Bucs vs. Bengals: Kevin Knowles, Miles Killebrew, Bauer Sharp, Anthony Nelson, Ko Kieft, Ifeatu Melifonwu, David Walker and SirVocea Dennis all played 15 snaps each. Knowles led with two tackles. Dennis, Walker, Sharp, Trotter one each.

Bucs Claimed CB Kevin Knowles For A Different Reason Than You Think
After "solidifying" their 53-man roster last Sunday, the Bucs immediately made a change early last week. The move was effectively a waiver trade of defensive players. After Kansas City claimed outside linebacker Jack Pyburn, who excelled for the Bucs in the preseason, they waived cornerback Kevin Knowles. The Bucs, in kind, claimed Knowles. While
- Bucs made another practice-squad move Wednesday, releasing corner Roman Parodie. The addition of Kevin Knowles to the 53 pushes another corner out as they juggle depth across positions.

- Not such big surprises on the Chiefs’ 53, but a few things that caught my attention: 1) Moving on from Emari Demercado speaks to a couple things: the Chiefs see Ken Walker as a three-down back, and they love what Emmett Johnson has showed. Brashard Smith is a wild card Andy Reid can move around on offense, and he’s KR2. Best return in a while for KC on Friday night. 2) Cutting Andrew Armstrong means the Chiefs think he can pass through waivers, which is possible. Remember this is a second-year player, not a rookie. It also speaks to Nikko Remigio, who Dave Toub trusts better than anyone on the roster to catch a punt. The Chiefs have played in 22 one-score games the past two years alone. Even one muff matters. We’ll see on Armstrong. 3) Esa Pole was cut, and here I’d echo the Armstrong point — I think he probably gets to the practice squad. From posts (tweets, whatever), it seems like fans are out on Pole, anyway, but a lot of the same fans were upset when Pole was claimed last year…
