- Sep 20 Nick Farabaugh (X) I generally think when you see a pressure rate this high, it’s some combination of OL + QB pocket movement. I thought Rodgers rolled into pressure at times but the OL obviously got whooped and didn’t play well at any level. · Quoting Jack Sperry: The Steelers gave up a 62 PERCENT pressure rate on Aaron Rodgers today. That is literally double what it was last week vs. Atlanta, would have easily been the highest in NFL in Week 1 & I'd be shocked if it's not easily the highest in the league this week. To make matters worse, NE was without their top 2 edge rushers for this game in Harold Landry & Dre'Mont Jones today! This offense can only go if the O-Line goes & through 2 weeks, that unit is not where it needs to be to garner any sort of offensive success. Gotta find a way to get better, and fast, up front.

- Some Patriots thoughts/news nuggets: 🏈This was a straight-forward cut-down day. No shocking moves. One of the more interesting decisions was keeping quarterback Behren Morton, the 2026 seventh-round pick from Texas Tech, as the third option. It speaks to the importance of the position; notable that four teams kept four QBs on initial 53-man rosters (Eagles, Falcons, Steelers, Vikings), which is unusual. 🏈Would be shocked if the Patriots don’t aggressively address OLB, either on the practice squad or a waiver claim. Teams aren’t giving quality pass-rushers away, but a player like Caleb Murphy – who played five games for the Patriots last season, was waived by the Giants, and would be a plug-and-play core special teamer at minimum – would provide the team with some much-needed experienced OLB depth. 🏈Five.
