- Oct 26 Matt Schneidman (X) Last thing I'll say about the ref who fell, Terry Killens Jr., and that crew (btw that Barnes flag after tackling Lloyd was wrong, too) Players are coached to play through the whistle. Now the whistle doesn't matter. They're just supposed to guess when the play is over? And what about St. Brown clearly making an effort to get up and run? This explanation, to no surprise, makes no sense. · Quoting Rob Demovsky: Checked in with the NFL today to see if it had anything to add to yesterday’s pool report. They’re standing by referee Alex Moore’s explanation. On the unnecessary roughness penalty on Devonte Wyatt, was told sometimes officials do not blow the whistle immediately if they do not see the ball as they are moving in to work the dead-ball action, and that when a player is down on the ground for that long and is making no effort to get up while being wrapped up by another defensive, it should be clear and obvious to the players that he is down. By my count, St. Brown completely…

By my count, St. Brown completely stopped ALL movement for about 1.5 seconds. Yes, he was down for longer than that but he was still moving.

- Oct 25 Ryan Wood (X) There are so many inconsistencies with this answer from the pool report. The play was ruled over, but insure us there’s a whistle? If the official can’t hear a whistle, and there might not even be a whistle, I’m not sure what Devonte Wyatt is supposed to do there.

- Oct 25 Matt Schneidman (X) Pool report with referee Alex Moore and Lions beat writer @BenjaminSRaven: On the Devonte Wyatt roughness call, Moore said: "I can't honestly hear if there was a whistle or not, but the tackler made the tackle. The play was over."
- Oct 25 Matt Schneidman (X) Devonte Wyatt to @RobDemovsky: "What if (St. Brown) would’ve got up and ran for a touchdown? Then everybody would be looking at D-Wy like, ‘You let him go’ ... I feel like the refs were on their side the whole day." "If it wasn’t for the flags, we would’ve won that game."
- Oct 25 NFL News Poster (Bluesky) [Demovsky] Packers coach Matt LaFleur said there was no whistle blown before Devonte Wyatt’s penalty. “They tried to tell me the play was obviously dead.”
- Oct 25 Matt Schneidman (X) Matt LaFleur says he didn’t get much explanation from officials throughout the entire game. Here he explains his POV on the controversial Devonte Wyatt roughness call. Says there was no whistle to blow the play dead.
- Oct 25 Matt Schneidman (X) So did Devonte Wyatt think St. Brown was trying to keep running because he wasn't down? And that's why he got flagged 15 yards? Anyway, Lions take advantage and grab the lead right back.
- Oct 25 Ryan Wood (X) Refs announced Isaiah McDuffie for that unnecessary roughness on Amon-Ra St. Brown, but it got changed to Devonte Wyatt, who tackled St. Brown after the play. St. Brown got up to run like the play was still live, but if refs blew whistle, that's all that matters.

- It's Vikings gameday! I cannot wait for this one. Some matchups I'll be watching, in addition to the obvious QB vs. DC angles: Dallas Turner vs. Jordan Morgan I'd imagine Turner will spend most of his time at the ROLB position. Morgan has been dealing with a minor knee injury recently and will be making just his second NFL appearance at left tackle (Week 18 last year at MIN). Turner had a great camp. Vikings' IOL vs. Packers IDL If you're the Vikings, you feel pretty good about Darrisaw and O'Neill against the Packers' collection of non-Micah edge rushers. The area of concern is Jackson, Brandel, and Fries going against Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, and Javon Hargrave. Wyatt, in particular, is dangerous. Jefferson/Addison vs. Nixon/Cisse If the Packers struggle to get much pressure on Kyler, they're going to need their corners to hold up. CB1 is Keisean Nixon, a solid player who is a bit undersized. CB2 is second-round rookie Brandon Cisse, making his NFL debut. This is a tough task…

- Packers HC Matt LaFleur on Devonte Wyatt: "I think he's had a good progression. Obviously, he didn't do anything in the offseason [due to injury], and then there was a slow build into training camp. I think he's starting to hit his stride and look like the heavy D that we saw last year."
