- Aug 30 Mike Klis (X) It was 7th-round rookie TE Dallen Bentley, not 5th-round TE Joly or vet Krull, who made the #Broncos’ 53. Surprising until you consider Sean Payton prioritizes blocking in his TEs. See Trautman, Adkins and now Bentley. Engram the lone receiving TE and he’s been an elite receiver. · Quoting MikeKlis9NEWS: A surprise: Per multiple sources, #Broncos have waived 5th-round rookie TE Justin Joly. He did struggle adjusting to NFL in training camp and clearly he could use a redshirt year. But his talent was obvious on 88-yard catch-and-run TD Friday vs. Vikings. See if he clears waivers.
