- Sep 6 David Lombardi (X) Nick Bosa not at the open window of practice but, as I head, could just be his "Wednesday" maintenance plan. Everyone else except James Thompson Jr. was a participant, including: Renardo Green Jack Jones Jacob Cowing Gracen Halton Luke Gifford Romello Height Thompson worked on the side. The pink injury shadings have all but vanished (for now)!

- 49ers plan to sign DE Khalid Kareem off the Falcons practice squad. Team is obviously light on DEs with Sam Okuayinonu OUT with a foot injury, Romello Height dealing with an ankle injury and Nick Bosa coming back from an ACL injury.

- Also, remember that the 49ers will be running more 3-4/OLB stuff under new DC Raheem Morris. That means outside linebacker types will more frequently take on edge-rushing responsibilities and it could impact how heavily SF stocks the standard DE room. Someone like LB Jaden Dugger has even practiced with the DEs. "Standard" DEs on the initial 53... -Nick Bosa -Keion White -Sam Okuayinonu -Romello Height That's enough for a game day rotation, especially given Dugger's versatility.
