Why it's #2 DNP · DeVonta Smith (top-50)
-
Biggest issue will be Carter moving around, no matter who is at LG or RT, he can find mismatches. They also have Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo who can overpower interior at the same time when Carter flexes out.
Offensively, if DeVonta Smith and Saquon Barkley are still sidelined, Dallas Goedert and Dontayvion Wicks are probably the matchups I’d be concerned about if I was Ejiro Evero.
Why it's #3 DeVonta Smith (top-50)

- Oct 4 EJ Smith (X) #Eagles offense goes three-and-out. Protection has been shaky in the first half. Somewhat understandable with all the moving parts, but it's stalling drives. · Quoting EJ Smith: #Eagles defense forces a quick three-and-out courtesy of a really nice run stuff from Moro Ojomo and an open-field tackle from Riq Woolen the play before. Big opportunity for the offense coming up.

- That price seems like great news for Howie Roseman. Strengthens what the #Eagles could get for Moro Ojomo, who isn't under contract like Simmons but is younger. I'd have guessed they could get a third-round pick for Ojomo, this Simmons deal makes that seem even more likely. · Quoting Albert Breer: Again, the final terms ... Bears get: DT Jeffery Simmons, 2028 fifth-round pick. Titans get: 2027 first-round pick, 2028 first-round pick, 2027 fourth-round pick. When I did my All-Pro calls last year, there was no more resounding first-teamer with coaches/execs than Simmons.

Missed tackle on the opening play by Marcus Epps.
I wonder how eager Vic Fangio will be with his base defense to get Epps off the field in favor of Moro Ojomo. Makes sense against a team like the Bears that uses a good amount of multiple tight end sets.
