Klint Kubiak on the snap breakdown between Ashton Jeanty and Mike Washington Jr.:
"Most games I've been in, it never turns out exactly how you plan it. A lot of times, you're riding the guy that has the hot hand. We've got two guys who are playing good football. Ashton, obviously, had a really good game. We expect more from Mike. Not that he didn't play well-- I think Mike played really well. If he were to get 10 more carries, I know he'd do a great job. But it was his first NFL game, and so you have to look at how he responded against ones versus ones." · Quoting Sam Warren: Raiders snap counts takeaways besides Crosby:
- Ashton Jeanty dominated the backfield share with 50 offensive snaps (74%). Mike Washington Jr.'s 13 snaps were only 3 more than Dylan Laube's 10.
- Kwity Paye (32) and Malcolm Koonce (29) were near even in their defensive snap share.
- Tonka Hemingway led the DTs in defensive snaps (32). Adam Butler (21), Thomas Booker (19), Jonah Laulu (19) and Foley Fatukasi…

The River 7 newest first
- Raiders have to pass rush through the middle of the Bills tackles today, otherwise Josh Allen can kill them with his feet. Malcolm Koonce got pushed inside on that third down, allowing Allen to escape the pocket outside and hit the check down for a first down.
-
Raiders get their first sack of the game via Jonah Laulu and Malcolm Koonce.

- Going into this game I wondered how the edge rusher split would look from the Raiders. The tendency last week was for the Saints sent a ton of help to Asim Richards side when he was matched up with Trey Hendrickson, and they let him iso when it was anyone else. Maxx Crosby is a similar player and have to imagine the plan was similar. The two big turnovers came on plays where Koonce was 1-on-1 vs Richards. · Quoting Ryan Holmes: 3rd & 4, Leonard dials up glitch (5 man pressure, both DT drop, blitz the mike/will/nickel) to get a free runner at QB. Malcolm Koonce beats the LT quickly chopping left hand then turns corner for strip sack before the free runner (Johnson) even gets there. #RaiderNation
