Nico Collins expects 'special season' for Texans: 'Feel the energy' By Aaron Wilson CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Nico Collins made a textbook route look routine, and it was a well-practiced sequence: tapping his cleats into the ground, cutting sharply, his hands outstretched after gaining a crucial step. The football? Yes, it arrived right on time before Collins even completed breaking open as Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud confidently delivered a spiral for a first down to his top downfield target. It was the kind of play that reinforces the confident foundation that Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver, and Stroud, a former NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, have already built together with timing, chemistry, friendship and trust during their first three years collaborating together. During that span, the Texans have manufactured three consecutive winning seasons and playoff appearances with three playoff victories. Their connection, interrupted a few times by respective injuries, has piled up a… Show all

The #Patriots have already played more 3-nickel safety today than they did in most prior games. I'd guess to split the difference between their pass struggles in base and so-so run D in 3-corner nickel. Another reason seen on that 2nd down: spying Willis with No. 3 safety Jaylen Reed. Show all
