- Jordan Van Den Berg is a rookie. Expecting him to be any good seems ambitious at this point, let alone a team leader. Just don't tell rookie teammate Jayden Loving that. He already has stories about JVDB that hint at big things down the line for the #Bears. (1/2)
- Jordan van den Berg, Jayden Loving forge friendship while battling for roster spots
- Jayden Loving went undrafted. That immediately makes you think he underachieved in college. While that is technically true, the #Bears believe it was less about him and more about his coaches. The details reveal a lot. (1/2)

There are tiers within undrafted rookies -- out of these 45 that made initial 53-man rosters, 15 of them got $200,000+ in guaranteed money and 27 in all got $100k+, almost like an eighth round with more guaranteed money than a seventh.
What's even more impressive are those who got little or no guaranteed money and still made 53s:
Ravens QB Joe Fagnano: $0
Chiefs T Kahlil Benson: $0
Patriots LB Khalil Jacobs: $0
Dolphins FB D.J. Herman: $0
Bucs LB Caden Fordham: $2,000
Commanders K Drew Stevens: $2,500
Chargers CB Rodney Shelley: $5,000
Chargers C Jacob Spomer: $10,000
Giants LS Ben Mann: $10,000

Let’s have a convo about the freak athletic rookie DT that’s had a great camp and pre season.
No not Jordan van den Berg. Jayden Loving. He’s physical quick explosive and shows up against run and pass.
Jayden Loving.
At 310lbs he ran a 4.78 a 7.15 3 cone jumped 35” on the vert and 9’3” on the broad and 33 bench reps. A RAS of 9.93 16th out of over 2,200 DT in combine history. It shows.
His tape doesn’t lie this kid can play. #DaBears #Bears #ChicagoBears
