- Interesting tidbit: Vita Vea participated in the team conditioning test (yes he did request a trade) and tweaked his back. Coach Todd Bowles said that is why he was held out of today’s practice. Tristan Wirfs was also held out today because he tweaked a hamstring in the test.

Bucs newly re-signed defensive tackle Vita Vea: “They say home is where the heart is. I feel like my heart is in Tampa.” He said he never wanted to be traded. That was just the business side of things. He said he wants to be a Buc his whole career.
