- LaFleur said the same for DB Garrett Williams. He's "progressing well" and is in "good spirits." Williams is in a ramp-up period and his status for Week 1 will go all the way into that week, LaFleur said.
- James Conner was "not far off" from avoiding IR, LaFleur said. "It just was in the best interest of the player and the organization to give him a little bit more time. So again, I don't overly ask him, you just know. And, again, he's earned the right with all that.
