Linebacker Jordan Burch lost his grandmother recently and LaFleur has allowed him to miss all week to grieve and attend her funeral. I asked LaFleur today why it was important to let Burch have his time during such a tough period in the middle of the season. His answer: “I think each situation is unique to its own. And so it's a hard one for me to answer, but it's unique in terms of each person is different and again, people's intentions and where they come from and who helped raise them and all those kind of things. So, it was right for him to go be there and I think it was definitely the best thing."
