- 6d Aaron Wilson (X) #Texans linebacker and team captain Azeez Al-Shaair on Kamari Lassiter taking loss hard, blaming himself: 'That's my boy. We all have been there. I mean, he's supposed to feel like the game is on him, just like I feel like the game is on me. I told him, the biggest thing is, it's okay to feel like it's on you if that's going to make you push yourself to keep getting better, but don't let that lose the confidence of who you are as a player. Every player should be looking at themselves saying, what should I be doing differently? How can I be better without losing, you know, the sight of the big picture and, like, all the work that he's done. You know, he's a great player, a great corner. And him being in position and dropping the ball, if anybody knows what that feels like, to drop the ball, be in a position to make the play.'

#Texans Azeez Al-Shaair on being fined by #NFL $11,492 for having name on his eyeblack honoring Hind Rajab, a Palestinian five-year-old girl killed by Israeli military along with her family in Gaza City in January, 2024 by Israel military and Kyrie Irving saying he'll pay the fine: 'It's bigger to me. Is a life worth $11,000? I think it's priceless. An innocent man, an innocent woman, an innocent child losing their life is not right.'
'I don't think everybody knows what it's about.
I think that was the point because before that, probably most of you guys might not even know who she was. That's kind of the point. There's a lot that goes on in the world, not just overseas, right here in our own country.
Even I did an event two Tuesdays ago for families that were affected by ICE that were either detained or their family members were detained. At that time, I never knew anybody personally who has been detained or anything like that. And then literally this past Tuesday, a friend of mine,…

"We've talked multiple times, especially in the last week. A lot of that stuff is just him supporting me and me supporting him and having to turn his back. I think the biggest thing is me and him align on the cause, which is humanity. We both care about humanity, regardless of skin color, race, anything like that. "I think some people are like, well, it's pretty black and white. We don't have to have all the answers to everything to know that. An innocent man, an innocent woman, an innocent child losing their life is not right. I don't need anybody to gaslight me into saying that. I just know that's not right, whether they're here in America or somewhere halfway across the world." @KPRC2 · Quoting Aaron Wilson: #Texans Azeez Al-Shaair on being fined by #NFL $11,492 for having name on his eyeblack honoring Hind Rajab, a…
