- Austin Jackson just whiffed against Nate Lynn of the Jets. Apparently designed run, notes Adam Archuleta.
- Just thinking out loud….. I wonder if the Chargers, which are seemingly in a desperate state with that O-line, would trade a 6th round pick to get Austin Jackson? And would that be worth it for Miami?
- No, there is no such thing as trash. The players people are talking about trading away - Zach Sieler and Austin Jackson - are clearly better than anyone who could replace them. Exactly what would a 5th and 6th rd pick in 2027 do for this franchise? Malik Willis needs a stable pocket, and Zach Sieler is a top 3 defender on this team, and a key leader. If either is traded it’s evidence of the · Quoting JROD’S THE TRUTH: @OmarKelly They say the Dolphins are sellers right now and everyone wants to give away our trash, but what if the chargers or Jags come calling for Paul offering a 1st rounder?
- Dolphins’ Zach Sieler, Austin Jackson identified by La Canfora as potential Miami trade pieces ahead of the deadline. · Quoting Jason La Canfora: The #Cardinals are not done deadling by a long shot. And Harrison isn't the only WR who will be moved. More NFL trades are coming way before the deadline. Here's who else is on the move
- Austin Jackson’s knee issues means you need to find options, backups · Quoting Chris Kouffman: Darian Kinnard and Melvin Priestly are both Right Tackles and Miami worked them out after Austin Jackson struggled against third time in four games. Looks to me like the Dolphins are lining things up for an in-season trade, making sure they can get a backup for Caedan Wallace.

This is why you should pay no attention to PFF grades. Austin Jackson’s best attribute is his run blocking. His pass pro is alright, and has always been.
Seriously people, PFF grades are trash. Stop referencing them · Quoting Bernie: @OmarKelly Austin Jackson is now ranked as the worst starting Offensive Tackle in the league by far, which is concerning since in the past he has been above average in Pass Blocking & serviceable in Run Blocking. Don't know if new blocking scheme or other factors causing steep decline.

- Sep 29 Omar Kelly (X) No disrespect, but Chris Grier would have indeed selected Jacob Rodriguez. And please do know I’m not even a fan of Chris Grier, and I think he drafts horribly. Rodriguez was a 1st rd talent who fell into second because of age, size, position value. But he’s a baller · Quoting Austin Jackson Stan: What’s crazy and I’m sure I’m not the only one, I instantly knew the second he was drafted that he would be a star. It was the most un-Grier like pick I had ever seen bc he was such an obvious stud. That’s when I realized that things were different now with this franchise.

- Offensive lineman is so often a thankless job where many harp on the one bad play, even if most other reps were solid. · Quoting Reason: Everyone was pretty hard on Jonah Savaiinaea for the really rough rep he had on the QB hit allowed to Keion White and there's no excusing it - it's a pretty bad rep. But while people will constantly scream about your failures and whisper about your successes, Savaiinaea was arguably Miami's best offensive lineman on Sunday and through the first two weeks. I thought Jonah had some really good reps against Nick Bosa specifically. On the first clip, Bosa tries to win with the cross chop and swim move, Jonah sticks with Bosa, catches him off balance and plants him on the turf. On the very next play after Keion White beat him for the hit on Malik Willis that forced an incompletion, we all remember the Malik Willis play extension and laser up the left sideline for 23 yards to Malik Washington but if it wasn't for Jonah cleaning up Jackson's mess, does…

- Sep 23 Omar Kelly (X) This isn’t about making excuses. Austin Jackson is a professional. But where has the help been going against two of the best pass rushers in the NFL? · Quoting eric smith: We can do this, but I'm not doing all the work for you. Well, I already did the work, but you need to step up if you want to actually provide proof for your argument. Like I said - pick any game in 2025. Watch Austin Jackson for every snap in those games. Report back with the timestamp of any snaps where you felt he was sub-par. I don't suspect you will - but if/when you do, we'll compare.
